Please pray…
…for a Say Hello team who will minister among Muslim women in a sensitive European community the week of September 22-29. Pray for fruitful outreach and for our own hearts to be enlarged with love for our Muslim neighbors everywhere.
…for two women in an American ESL center who are being scrutinized and hurt by husbands who are suspicious of the center’s motives. Pray that these men’s rancor would supernaturally be replaced by genuine love and concern for their wives’ spiritual development and their transitions into western language and culture.
…for a worker whose ministry revolves around mission to Muslim women in her city and beyond. She has been witnessing to a Muslim academician who has become an avid Islamic activist in North America and Saudi Arabia. Please pray that the Lord would ordain J’s words and that she would be led and protected by the Holy Spirit, upon whom she relies completely. Pray that this academician would have a Damascus Road experience, so that like the Apostle Paul, her anti-Christ zeal might become zeal for Him.
…for a Muslim girl who is currently detoxing in a Christian drug rehab center in a sensitive country. She has been told she is worthless and has been beaten ruthlessly by family members. The first night of detox she tried to kill herself; she says her life is hopeless. She weeps during prayer and conversation with workers who share Christ’s love and truth with her. Please pray that she comes to faith, and that the Lord radically heals her body, mind and spirit.
…for Christian workers in Muslim countries worldwide whose safety is compromised by the riots that have broken out in protest of the film published by an Egyptian Coptic Christian. Pray for peace and protection.
…for a Christian worker family in Turkey who has just learned that the husband/father has terminal cancer. They have vested their lives in their Muslim neighbors. Their prayer is that through S’s illness their Muslim neighbors near and far, who are desperately broken over this man’s prognosis, would trust Jesus. May it be so.
