Prayer Requests for the Week of February 10

Please pray…

…for the wife, children and community who grieve the loss of a brave African pastor and missionary who was assassinated this past week. Pray that the blood of this martyr will indeed be the seed of the church in the land where God called him to serve.

…for a very devout Muslim immigrant woman from a sensitive country who is reading the Young Reader’s Bible after a year of friendship with a Christian woman. The Muslim woman took the book on her own initiative; please pray that the stories she reads will speak to her needs and that she will long for and find Jesus. Pray for her Christian friend as she guides this Muslim on her journey.

…for the students you prayed for last week who have chosen to sincerely love Muslims — that they would right away find favor in new encounters with Muslims and that God would use them to show these new friends the way to Jesus.

Prayer Requests for the Week of February 3

Please pray…

…for a young Muslim girl in Chicago who is attending Bible studies. She has a young child and is losing her home due to a failed, abusive marriage. She has no means of income as a single woman, and in her despair is vulnerable to enticements that are harmful to her. Please pray that her Christian friends will have a special anointing for opportunities that God gives them to reach her.

…that male pastors and leaders will know the value of Christian-with-Muslim women’s relationships, so that they will undergird their efforts with prayer support and resources that add capacity to these redemptive friendships.

…that the Holy Spirit would use Say Hello’s impact among university students in a Pennsylvania city this week to compel them toward intentional Christ-presence among Muslims in future work and community settings.

Prayer Requests for the Week of January 27

Please pray…

…for a Muslim immigrant from Yemen who is barren. Her husband announced to her that he will go to his country to visit his first wife and children. She fears that he might not return and that he could take a third wife during this time. She doesn’t have work or have a driver’s license and is afraid of being abandoned with no family at all where she lives now. Please pray that her Christian friend will be able to lead her to Jesus and that she will know the security of His love and care.

…for a Christian worker in Italy whose outreach to Muslim immigrant women involves plans for teaching them Italian and offering classes (sewing, etc.) to help them succeed in their communities. Pray as well for her friend S’s salvation—and that this friendship will favorably influence new possibilities for outreach among many who are like S.

…for a meeting Say Hello will have this week with Christian women whose leadership roles have potential to impact outreach to Muslim women globally. Pray that the Lord will infuse their hearts with passion for Muslim women everywhere and that they will respond with deliberate action in their own vast realms of influence.

Please pray…

…for workers that serve Muslim women who are captive in sex trade contexts—that the Holy Spirit will fill them with boldness and wisdom for their work. Pray that the light of Christ will invade the lives of these Muslim women with Love that reveals its source and finds prompt acceptance in their hearts.

…for workers in a sensitive country where the government is closing their outreach centers. Pray that the Lord will heal hurts and restore hopes as they leave friends they have loved and works they have started. Please pray for smooth transitions into new places of ministry.

…for Say Hello’s ministry community as we seek God’s direction in vision casting and strategic planning—that the fruit of our labors would be redeemed Muslim women everywhere.
