• for Christian women who minister to Muslim women through salon arts/beauty outreach. Pray that these hairdressers, manicurists/pedicurists, make-up specialists, massage therapists, and beauty consultants will be anointed to touch their Muslim clients with the love of Christ in ways that make these women long for more of Jesus.

• that the local church everywhere will awaken to the opportunity God gives us all to reach our Muslim neighbors. Pray that God will put any fears to rest and fill us with His love for them.

• for Ethiopian Muslim women who are HIV positive, who are also involved in a women’s empowerment program sponsored by Christians in their country. Pray that they will seek and accept Christ by means of relationship with these Christian workers who genuinely love them and have ample opportunity to speak Jesus into their lives.

• for two Muslim sisters who recently began reading the Bible together during Ramadan. Their devout mother is adamant that Jesus cannot be God, but these sisters believe now that Jesus’ words are true. Please intercede for this dear mother to also come to accept by faith the full revelatory truth of Jesus. May she utter alongside her daughters, “I believe.”

• for extensive trainings that have occurred throughout May in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Global Initiative team members have been busily training believers in how to reach their Muslim neighbors. May these times of focused instruction and prayer bear much fruit for all of eternity.

• for Afghan refugee ladies who are very much still processing and grieving the events that led them to flee for their lives. Please pray that they will encounter the Prince of Peace and understand that He longs to wipe every tear from their eyes (Rev 21:4).

She has heard the story of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection for the very first time, and she has many questions. Please pray that the Lord will reach the deepest places of her heart, and that she will place her full faith in Him alone for salvation.

• for the many Muslim women in Los Angeles who frequent the U.S.’s first women-only mosque. Any sense of empowerment these precious women are seeking can only be found in Jesus. Please pray that the scales would fall from their eyes, and they would see Jesus as He really is.

• for Christian Korean women whose life passion is outreach to Muslim women. Many of them minister in countries that are very restricted and closed to Western presence.

• for Muslim women in Western universities who are graduating over the next few weeks. As they enter the work force or pursue further studies, may they sense that God is leading their steps. May they desire to truly know Him. Please especially pray that they would be surrounded by Christian women in their new endeavors, and may these friendships lead them straight to the feet of Jesus.

• for Ethiopian pastors and Bible school students who are receiving training from Global Initiative this month. They are part of a brand new program for training students in effective outreach among Muslims. May the Lord equip and send them to carry His Name to Muslims around the globe.

Pray especially against every lie that Muslims have believed regarding Jesus. In order for them to grasp the wonder and joy of His bodily resurrection, they must accept the Truth of His sacrificial death on the Cross. This is a huge stumbling block for Muslims; pray for this deception to be broken in Jesus’ Name!

• that Easter will take root in the hearts of immigrant Muslim women worldwide who might be more exposed to resurrection truth this month in particular. Pray that God will provide them with Christian sisters who would help to guide them as they consider embracing new life in Christ.

• for every married Muslim woman during this month of Ramadan. This can be an especially trying time for marriages due to the strictness of the fasting, as well as the high burdens placed on women for extra cooking during non-daylight hours. May the love they see on display in their Christian friends cause them to yearn for more, and may they find their heart’s desire met solely in Jesus.
