Prayer Requests for the Week of August 20

Please pray:

  • for N. as she is currently hospitalized with severe preterm labor risks. Please ask the Lord to intervene and perform a miracle for her unborn son. This dear Muslim woman is only 23 weeks pregnant, and the prognosis for delivery at this time is bleak. Intercede for the group of Christians who are providing compassionate care to N. and her family during this time of crisis.

  • for witnessing opportunities for Christian nurses in Arabian Gulf hospitals. Gloria says, “One patient is an imam. When I talk about Jesus, his daughter, Fatima, listens carefully. Recently she privately asked me for a Bible. Pray for her, as I feel she is close to accepting Jesus.” taken from Jumaa Prayer Fellowship

  • for female Muslim teachers in the West in the back-to-school season. Pray that they will encounter Christian students in their classrooms, as well as Christian colleagues ready to shine and share the love of Jesus throughout this new school year.

Prayer Requests for the Week of July 30

Please pray:

  • for God-ordained connections and conversations that advance His work among Muslim women during this coming week’s General Council of the Assemblies of God.

  • that women’s ministries groups in the United States will own the “Say Hello” challenge and find ways to reach the women in their communities. Group effort fosters a sense of community that is important to Muslim women. Pray that God uses community and unity as evidenced in the lives of Christian women in the U.S. to reach Muslim women in the U.S.

  • for female student interns connected with American university programs as they travel to Muslim countries and minister among Muslim women this summer. Pray that they bless their host nations and that they learn with hearts wide open. Pray for the Lord to use these internships to brand these young women with His own compelling love for Muslim women and that they will draw courage for life-long commitments to missionary service.

Prayer Requests for the Week of July 16

Please pray:

  • that Zanzibar’s 1% Christian minority females would be called and empowered for impactful outreach to the islands’ very conservative Muslim majority population. The Zanzibari Muslim woman has virtually no hope for salvation, barring the testimony of local believers who would brave immense obstacles to reach her.

  • that Christian guest-workers (i.e. teachers, business leaders, house servants, nannies, hotel staff, etc.) in restricted Islamic countries would find favor and opportunity for influence in their work contexts.

  • for Muslim women in your community, wherever you live—that they will seek God and that God will use you and other women like you to reach them.

Prayer Requests for the Week of July 9

Please pray:

  • for a Muslim background Christian whose faith in Jesus has required that she, her husband, and her child flee to a safe place in another country. She has become ill and urgently needs a healing touch from the Lord.

  • that Muslim women of influence would be agents of change in their own nations, so that doors might be open for restricted women to have fair access to the gospel message.

  • for Latin American women who are being wooed by Islam into conversions that are hosting Islam’s growth among them. Pray that they will seek Jesus for the significance they want and have not found in institutionalized faith of their forefathers.

Prayer Requests for the Week of July 2

Please pray:

  • for physical healing for S. as she battles a serious infection and is currently hospitalized. Pray that this dear Muslim woman would know that it is by the stripes of Jesus that she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). As you intercede for her, ask the Lord to reveal to S. that His shed blood also purchased her salvation and her peace.

  • for the many new Muslim refugees in the US who will be attending Independence Day celebrations this coming week. Just as they learn about the significance of the holiday for America, may they soon learn the Truth of Jesus and the ultimate freedom that is solely found in Him.

  • for single Christian women who have been trained and commissioned this month for a lifetime of service among the world’s Muslims. May the Lord’s protection, provision, peace, and very presence be theirs in abundance.

Prayer Requests for the Week of June 25

Please pray:

  • that as Muslims globally prepare for their upcoming holiday of Eid al-Adha, in which they commemorate Abraham’s sacrifice of his son, Ishmael, and God’s subsequent provision of a ram, that the revelation of Jesus Christ as the final sacrifice once for all would truly take root in their hearts (Hebrews 10:1-18). Please pray that as streets literally flow with the blood of sacrificed animals in the coming days that Muslims would be able to hear the Truth of the atoning, healing, and perfect spilt blood of Jesus for them!

  • for *R.—a young Muslim woman who struggles greatly with anger and bitterness regarding her life’s circumstances. She is very disillusioned with Islam and quite open regarding Christianity. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften her heart towards the Truth of His Word and to illuminate to her that Jesus is the only Way, the only Truth, and the only Life for her (John 14:6).

  • specifically for Afghan women who have emigrated to the West in hopes to find sanctuary--that they will find that safety in the care of loving Christians and the gospel's good news that is shared with them.
