Prayer Requests for the Week of April 7

Please pray…

…for a group of women in a very sensitive country who have been seeking Jesus. Three of them have been accosted by family regarding their interest in new faith, and one has been tortured. Under duress this girl shared names of others in the group. The situation is difficult. Pray that what the enemy has intended for evil, God will make good, for the sake of His name and those who are implicated by this need.

…for Christian women in Cuba who have married Muslim men. Typically, their pre-nuptial lack of awareness blinds them to the vulnerabilities such marriages usually exact upon their families. Pray for those who find themselves involved in the conflicts, and pray for Cuban women in general who might be enticed by what Muslim men who are immigrating to their communities appear to offer them.

…for Muslim women worldwide who received ministry during Easter week celebrations, whether it be via media or personal contacts. Pray that they would continue to seek Truth. Pray that in places where redemptive friendships with Christians are not possible, God would use their own Muslim searches to lead them to Jesus.

…A Christian teacher in the U.S. recently sent us the following prayer request: I have a young Muslim student (3rd grade) who has asked me over different days what the Bible is and who Jesus is. I brought my Bible to school and let him look at it and explained a few things to him. Please pray for Mustafa and his family to come to know Jesus as personal Savior. Please pray for me also that I will say no more or no less than I should to him, and I do teach in a public school.

Please pray for this teacher, and for many, many like her who have opportunity to speak into the lives of their Muslim students. They all need the Holy Spirit’s special anointing for this task–a privilege and a mandate that speaks to every Jesus-follower.

Thank you for praying…

…for the young Muslim girl in Chicago who was evicted and faced difficult vulnerabilities on her own. God has heard our prayers! Please continue to pray that she will trust in Jesus alone for all her needs.
