A New Year, A New Hello

As one year closes and another begins, many of us pause to reflect.
We think about what we’re leaving behind, what we’re hoping for, and what we’re carrying with us into the new year. New Year’s Eve invites us to slow down — to remember God’s faithfulness and to entrust the future into His hands.

Around the world, Muslim women are also standing at this same threshold. Some are entering the new year with joy and anticipation. Others are stepping forward with uncertainty, grief, or exhaustion. Many are longing for peace, belonging, and hope — even if they wouldn’t use those words.

God Goes Before Us

Scripture reminds us that God is already present in the days ahead.
He is not surprised by the coming year, nor distant from it. He walks before us, with us, and beside us — faithfully guiding each step.

As followers of Jesus, this truth shapes how we enter the new year. We don’t rush ahead in our own strength. We step forward prayerfully, attentively, and with open hearts.

Small Beginnings Matter

At Say Hello, we believe God often works through simple, faithful acts.
A greeting.
A conversation.
A shared cup of tea.
A listening ear.

These small moments may feel insignificant, but in God’s hands, they become seeds — seeds of trust, friendship, and peace.

As the new year begins, we pray for fresh beginnings:

  • For Muslim women to experience renewed hope and strength found in Christ

  • For friendships to deepen through kindness and consistency

  • For courage to say “yes” to the small steps God places before us

Stepping Into the New Year Together

New Year’s Eve is not just about looking forward — it’s about surrender.
We release what we cannot control and trust the One who holds every tomorrow.

May this coming year be marked by grace, humility, and intentional love.
May God use each simple hello to reflect His heart to the women He places in our path.

“See, I am doing a new thing.” — Isaiah 43:19
