Resources for Black History Month

At Say Hello, we desire to inspire, equip, and mobilize the Church for effective outreach to Muslim women everywhere. In honor of Black History Month, we will be spotlighting African Americans and Islam in America.

Did you know that Islam is growing most rapidly among African Americans in America? Along with South Asians and those from the Middle East, African Americans comprise one of the three largest ethnic groups representing Muslims in America. Today African Americans make up around twenty percent of the total Muslim population in America.

Our parent organization, Global Initiative, is also highlighting Islam among African Americans throughout the month. We encourage you to follow along here. 

At Say Hello, we also care about the unique challenges that women face who are Black, Muslim, and American. We will be sharing content that provides awareness and allows you to know specifically how to pray for these precious women made in the image of God.
